Cute project! Couldn't see any telescope though. But there may have been a bug when I picked up the object on the boat, it kinda looked like a telescope but when I got it it was a trumpet ?
Unfortunately, no. Maybe I saw badly and somehow let go of the object ? Is that possible? Couldn't find it anywhere, it was the last thing to do the telescope.
I think you tried to pick-up two items at once, which shouldn't be possible but is due to a bug. That'll break your game. Due to the game jam having voting I can't update the game for another 7 days.
Hm, you shouldn't be able to carry two items at once hah. So I'll add a check for that after the game jam, I unfortunately cannot adjust the game right now
Insane amount of polish, can't believe how much content you were able to pack into this, loved the silly fetch quest premises and the charming little island town

Taking this particular game as a starting point, I’d like to offer some general comments on Kenney’s games. Everything I’ve played features a fully enclosed environment and is highly responsive, offering an exceptional user experience.
Furthermore, the graphics—from the simplest puzzle game to the most complex—are very appealing and draw you in. Kenney seems to implement every detail meticulously, leaving nothing to chance.
And the availability of so many high-quality assets for free use is incredibly helpful for those of us who develop games in our free time but have no idea how to create assets or lack the talent to do so.

This is such a good and fun cozy game however I got stuck after the telescope, sad ghost and barbell tasks ended. Can anyone help me out please?
It seems that you can pick-up two items at the same time, don't do this as it will ruin the game run. You'll have to restart unfortunately!
Very lovely. As others already noted, there is a bug that when you are already carrying an item and pickup another one, the first item is lost.

A trumpet? Do you by any chance have a screenshot of that? That should not be possible at all.

maybe bug. was carrrying two items, then delivered one for a task, and the other items disappeared as well, and didn't respawn in the original place.

Lovely work and great idea. I love how tasks are interconnected.
Last task didn't work in my play through, I told the parents, but it remained 10/11, although city group photo did appear.
